Veda - A Sanskrit word meaning, in essence, eternal knowledge or wisdom.
"That eternal knowledge which reveals to us
our true essential nature"

A deeper examination of the etymology of the Sanskrit root, ‘vid’, reveals these additional insights:
·      To be or to exist
·      To know or to be consciously aware of
·      To gain highest attainment

This knowledge is embedded in the heart of each and every thinking and living human being, however we are often blocked from this wisdom due to our increasingly stressful lifestyles.

Through many tried and truly effective modalities, VedaTherapie encourages a shift
toward a reconnection with the inner wisdom that dwells within each of us. Our bodies have the innate wisdom to seek and maintain balance if we could only quiet our minds to take notice.

VedaTherapie Core Beliefs

VedaTherapie concerns itself always with shifting the focus of treatment away from an exclusive concern with the physical body to looking at the other dimensions of human life - the mental, emotional, and spiritual.
Mental - Negative attitudes and beliefs, combined with the high levels of daily stresses of life, have mental, spiritual, and physical consequences. We believe the best path to balanced mental health is through developing positive attitudes and beliefs and fostering good stress management skills.

Emotional - Recognition of learned habitual patterns, awareness of them in the moment they are happening, and - with this awareness and presence - taking steps to gently change our behavior can be empowering and transformational. By reconnecting with our internal world, our five senses, and our still mind, this awareness can be applied in many areas of our lives toward positive behavioral changes.

Spiritual - In our view, spirituality is taking advantage of, acknowledging, exploring, making use of and enhancing the non-physical aspects of our being. This can be explored outside the context of religion through the use of movement, nature, creativity, breath work and contemplation. This inner awareness often gets lost in our frenetic lifestyle, often to the detriment of sound health. In our work, we integrate these experiential approaches toward a deeper state of being.

Your hand opens and closes and opens and closes. If it were always a fist or always stretched open, you would be paralyzed. Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as bird wings ~ Rumi
