We have designed a unique program, combining the above methodologies, to approach whole person healing of the maladies that afflict us in our current time.
Pineal Gland
The pineal gland is integral to the brain-based endocrine system, and plays an important role in regulating almost every function in the body, including reproduction, executive function, growth, body temperature, blood pressure, sensory and motor activity, sleep, mood, immune function, appetite, and longevity. It is is a unique organ that synthesizes melatonin and is a potent neuronal protective antioxidant.
The calcification of this gland, known to be caused by aging, certain metabolic activity, and chronic health conditions, has been proposed to play a role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease, disturbance of the circadian rhythm, and migraine attacks.
Vagus Nerve
The vagus nerve, also called X cranial nerve or 10th cranial nerve, is the longest and most complex of the cranial nerves, and one of the most important nerves in the body. It helps to regulate many critical aspects of human physiology, including heart rate, blood pressure, sweating, digestion, and even speaking.
As you can see in the diagram, the vagus nerve connects with almost every organ in the body. It is part of the autonomic nervous system, and in particular, is a key component of the parasympathetic (rest and digest) division of the ANS. Poor vagus function is a key reason why some people struggle to heal from chronic illness.
Microbiome
The microbiome plays an increasingly important role in maintaining overall health. Eighty percent of our immune system is in our microbiome, our body’s bacteria, which helps us with just about every body process, including digesting food, thinking clearly, and even maintaining a healthy weight. The microbiome is located primarily in the gut but also other openings of the body, such as the mouth, the genitals, and the nose. A dysfunctional gut microbiome is common today due to years of exposure to diets high in processed foods and high fructose corn syrup, factory-raised meat and dairy products where antibiotics and hormones are used, not to mention the series of antibiotic treatments we have consumed over the years, prescription medicines, and mostly chronic stress and inability to manage that stress.
Vital Organs
When our bodies are inundated with toxicity - from the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe - on top of the chronic and unmitigated stress we are meant to endure on a daily basis - we may experience symptoms such as headaches, indigestion, brain fog, and fatigue. Our body eliminates toxins through the skin, lungs, kidneys, liver, digestive system and lymphatic system. When these systems are overloaded, it can slowly lead to more serious and complicated diseases. The VedaTherapie Method works to detox the major vital organs - liver, kidney, lungs, skin, digestive system and lymphatic system - to cleanse and rejuvenate the body, strengthen the immune system, improve circulation and metabolism, revitalize skin, hair, and nails, and reduce stress and strengthen our resilience to it.
